[HOST] Born and raised in Saskatoon / Warmen, Saskatchewan, 16-year-old Jacinta is the oldest of four kids. She can most likely be found with her nose in a book (potentially figuratively, with a book she plans to write one day), putting more effort then nessary into a school assignment she procrastinated about, hanging out with her amazing friends, or lounging on the couch with her family watching anything Star Wars/Lord of the Rings/Jane Austen…and of course, The Chosen. After many Youth groups and retreats, Jacinta has not only grown to love Jesus more, but also wants others to love him too. She tries her best to help with that by volunteering for her Parish Youth Group, co-hosting the Unvieled podcast, and recently creating social media posts for the local Sisters of the Presentation of Mary!

After a mission trip to Africa in the summer of 2024, Jacinta has a newfound appreciation for working vehicles and a positive attitude! Having stayed in a cloistered convent that tried with all its might to keep her, life in a religious community didn’t seem so far-fetched.

She is excited to explore this new adventure with two of her closest friends, Claire and Pax, and cannot wait to meet some incredible women.

[Host] Claire Ewen is a 15-year-old homeschooler and the oldest of five children, though she and her siblings are praying for an increase in the sibling ranks!

She LOVES to read, and you will find her either curled up with a book, writing or editing The Homeschool Chronicles, editing her first novel co-authored with her sister and bestie, practising piano, playing outside, or whopping her Mom in Kaiser or contract rummy.

Claire shares her love for Jesus with young children as a youth leader for the diocesan youth group, for Sacramental Preparation and for Vacation Bible School. She is so excited to journey along with you, learning about the different religious communities across North America and meeting some amazing women God has called to be uniquely His through Unveiled!!

[Junior Producer] Pax Ewen is 13 years old and is the second of five children in a Catholic, homeschooling family. Pax enjoys baking, photography, creative writing, crafting, and volleyball. Ever since her family moved to a Ranch, her list of hobbies have grown. She now also loves, Skidooing, quading, caring for her sheep and training her dog.

As an extroverted extrovert Pax’s favorite thing to do is hang out with her friends! She loves Jesus and participates in Youth Groups and Catholic camps. As a Choleric, she often tries to convert everyone she meets, no matter if they want to know Jesus or not! She also loves kids and is taking her ECE, hoping to become a preschool teacher. With an adventurous and fun spirit, Pax wants to go skydiving, paragliding, parachuting, bungee jumping, and Scuba diving with Claire.

Pax is a lover of sunny beach days, laughs, baby lambs, and perfect chocolate chip cookies. She is so excited to have this opportunity to learn more about the convents and vocations of women across the globe through Unveiled.
